Create a YouTube Playlist

If you don’t already have a YouTube account, sign up now to begin making your video playlist. Sign in to your new account.

Making a YouTube Playlist

Now that you have uploaded your videos, you can begin making your playlist…

Step 1: Select the “Playlist” tab from the menu and click “Create Playlist”

Step 2: Write a title, description, and add tags to make searching for your video easy – be sure to make your playlist public so that it can be easily accessed by everyone. Click “Save Playlist Info.”

Step 3: Click “Uploaded Videos” to select your own videos to include in the playlist *

Step 4: Once you have selected the video you want to include, click the “Add To” button and select “Playlist” – now you can select the the playlist you’d like to add your video to.

Step 5: Once in playlists, be sure to click “Share This Playlist” to send to your friends and family! You can always go back to your playlists page to make any changes.

* To add other people’s videos to your new playlist, select the “Videos” link on the main page. Browse through the available content and select the video you’d like to include in your playlist. When you view the video you can easily click the “Playlist” button at the bottom of the window and select the playlist you’d like to add to from the drop down box. Click the “Add” button.
